Warmer Times

Last summer on a ride up North, we spent an afternoon in Harbor Springs MI shooting and just enjoying the atmosphere of this quaint waterfront town along the Northern coast of Little Traverse Bay on Lake Michigan. This after a really outstanding ride on Highway 119 which becomes the Tunnel of Trees. This is a twenty mile stretch of road that does not meet the MI DOT regulations for cutback. There is road and trees and curves. It is very fun if you can dodge the cagers.

While in Harbor Springs there is a must stop location... It is Tom's Mom's Cookies... This is just a wonderful small business that bakes the best cookies. The ship too.

Anyhow, the image above was taken from the docks and summarizes the atmosphere and ambiance of what Harbor Springs is. I will try to get a church up here tomorrow.

TTFN... Doug
