Wow, didn't actually think I would ever start a blog but what the heck. Lest give it a try and see where it goes. AAt least it will give me a daily excuse to practice my typing skills... Or lack thereof. (thank you spell checker).

So here I go... Here is a little about me. I am a pilot by trade and enjoy photography to the point that my wife and I have started a photiagraphy business. Specifically it is Peek Digital Photography, LLC. This Blog is a result of the photography business and an avenue for me to share what I am doing both in aviation and photography.

I am a Canon shooter with some good L glass that is certainly worth more than my Rebel XTi body but I am waiting on Canon before I make a move on that one. I also have recently come by a G9 that is a blast to take on the road with me. As I am air-lining three to four times every week I fly, it gets past the TSApes without a hitch. I like the 12 MP sensor and the ability to capture in RAW. If there is one area I do avoid on that little brick it ISO 1600. Daat-gunna-do-it.

Oh well enough for a first Blog.
