This image was take as we exited the Allegheny mountains enroute to Maryland for a weekend visit with out kids. This after a hard drive through blizzard conditions all the way through Michigan that eased up in Ohio to just wet roads and then into another "wintery mix" in Pennsylvania. The clouds were still obscuring the hill tops but had left their mark on the trees. Through the previous night, the moisture in the clouds had frozen onto the trees to leave this shinny white coating for when the clouds raised in the morning. It is a very interesting phenomena that we were able to enjoy on our otherwise mundane drive.
Once we got out to MD, Saturday was a very nice day in the low 50's. While my wife and daughter we at the quilt shop in Annapolis, I took the opportunity to snap a couple of shots. The one above is of the round-about at the downtown harbor. There is a structure that is relatively new that houses a number of food shops similar to the mall food courts only in this case it takes on a food market flavor (pun intended, thank you very much!). I was with my son and son-in-law and we noticed the "free pretzel" from Auntie Annes Pretzels, so we had to bite (dido).

While we were waiting for the pretzels to done I was waling around looking for interesting shots and found this one. I thought the colors of the various drinks quenched the moment.
I am off to work tomorrow so it is probably going to be aviation for the next few days.
Take care all.
Doug
