Ok... So I am here tonight to make good on what I said Tuesday under "What a Sight". I said I would get the picture of the moon I took on the 70-200 f/2.8L IS lens and here it is. That lens sucks in so much light I had to dial down the aperture to keep from blowing the white out. I started on an ISO of 400 and tried a couple of shots and found I had to end up at 1/200 of a second with a n f/4.0. This of course was at the full 200mm of the lens.I did do a white balance adjustment on it in Lightroom but other than cropping, what you see is what the camera/lens produced. I like this lens!
Evelyn and I spent some time out at Grand Haven this afternoon getting some really nice shots of the frozen lake and the like. If I get a chance this weekend I will put some of them up, but will definitely got them up early next week.
