7,000,000 Ka-ching!!!

Seven big ones boys and girls. What gives with that? I thought there was a housing crisis going on. Guess not if you are holding onto some waterfront property. No... Maybe some lake property, No... No... How about some Ocean front property. Yeppers! Pacific Ocean property in Southern California.

A couple of weeks ago we spent two nights in the LAX Hilton and found there was a free shuttle to Manhattan Beach. So, with some time on our hands it was the most likely thing to do. I was going to have a really cool looking pano here but after 30 minutes of my PowerBook grinding away it displayed the pano in a nice perspective and proceeded to lock-up on me, Uuuug! I will try and get it assembled next week at home.

Anyhow we are walking along the boardwalk made of concrete. FYI in Atlantic City NJ the Boardwalk contains real wood. Hmmm... Must be that Hollywood thing. So we are walking the concrete-walk and the guy flying with me pulls his phone out and calls the number on a for sale sign and finds out these quaint shacks run seven million on the waterfront. The slums go back and up the hill at a price reduction of one million per street. Must be tough! Who's got that kind of money anyhow? No... Don't answer that, I probably don't want to know.

I must say it was a really cool place and I suppose if I had nothing better to do with seven bills I might have picked it up to kick back in.

Take care all and enjoy your weekend.

Doug
