Catch the moment

Last night when I had taken Sniper out for his evening business I looked over in the driveway and saw the most beautiful light in the reflection of my car. Back into the house I vanished and reappeared with my camera and the 16-35 2.8L lens firmly attached. I tried a couple of different settings but settled on 1/5 second at f2.8 at the widest focal length of 16mm. That was fairly dark but I had the effect I wanted so I boosted the ISO up to 400 to get some fill light in without overdoing it.

Once in post there was a little clean-up to do on a minor ding in the side of the car, toss some background and shadowing into it and there you have it.

It is a bit late and my pillow beckons my service. Good night all... Doug
