Boinx Does It Again

The folks across the pond at Boinx Software have come up with anouther very usefull presentation tool. Granted they are predominently Mac (no problem here) but have been riding high on their sucess of the Photomagico application that is just a killer piece of software. PhotoPresenter is no Photmagico but it is one of the quickest ways to turn a bunch of jpg into a slideshow with some killer transitions.

When the application opens you simply take you iPhoto Library and select the images you want in the presentation and drop them into their own folder.

Clicking on the second button on the top of the window opens up the viewing options. There a just a bunch of really neat transitions. You can select your own music from your iTunes library then have PhotoPresenter sync the presentation to the song. I did find that it required an identifiable beat to the music to do this really effectively. All there is to do after that is hit the play button. You can also export it out to the web, iPod, iPhone, and a bunch of other formats.

For $19.95 for a single station licensee there is no reason not to own this piece of software. 

I know it is early (or late in my case. I might have something else up here today but if the weather is cooperative we will be out on the Harley.
