This post could really fall under the shameless blog. I have been really busy today with the office project which is a good thing. Tomorrow it is mounting the workspace frame to the wall and hopefully lay the workstation substrate down.
I did want to get at least an image up today and stumbled across this one. What struck me was the value of this location. To us mere mortals, it looks like a nice condo unit in the 300-500K range. Well that might be just a tad low. When this picture was taken back in May it was for sale at a top dollar of 7 million. Ok... It is on Manhattan Beach south of LAX airport on the Pacific Ocean.
I am not sure but unless it sold during the early summer months, I would be willing to guess that the price tag has dropped a few bills. Maybe 6.5 million. Whatever the price I can tell you one thing... It's waaaaay tooo much!
As far as the image is concerned, the dimming effect of the other parts of the image was done in Lightroom. This was not available last May. It would have been a trip to Photoshop and a return run with a much larger file. That is a really cool thing!
That will do it for today... Doug
