As I finish out the week, I wanted to get one more up for the Waco Fly-in last weekend. This sequence was shot with the Canon 40D / EF 70-200 f/2.8 L IS + 1/4 teleconverter in high speed drive mode. I was able to get about 7-9 shots per pass but there were some issues. First the light was wrong in that it was later in the afternoon which is normally totally sweet light but the wind was out of the east which caused me to have to shoot into the light. Sorry, no fill flash here.
As the camera was in AF-Servo and the panning of the camera caused every other shot to just be a little off in sharpness. Either that or I was just missing the focus point. As you can tell from the images it was really a beautiful day to be out shooting.
