As with anything that man comes up with, there will be good uses as well as bad. Facebook is one such creation. Personally I have 121 friends on Facebook, just a bug-splat on some peoples friend list. As I read some of the entries, and review photos of some of the people it can be alarming what is displayed and said in this form of virtual social medium. The minute the Share button is pressed the seclusion of the keyboard and display are immediately transmitted across the internet to whomever. Your friends may be friends that are not you friends. Talk about the ultimate six degrees of separation!
For the good of it, the image above is a scanned image from an old Kodak 110 Instamatic camera. The three girls in the photo are Ashly, Lindsay, and Sandy, Sandy being our daughter. They were part of a Christmas program at a church we were attending at the time. It was through Facebook a while back that our family was able to get back in contact with Ashly who is currently in Germany. I put this image up and the next day we were all friended by Lindsay, Ashly' sister.
My only warning to the Facebookers I run into is that we all need to guard our heart, and watch what we say and show in any social environment. There is very little privacy in the Big Brother world we find ourselves in.
That will do it for today.
