You Got to Be There to Get It!

We had just returned home from watching a movie and looked up into the sky to see a half moon lit sky. Some choppy clouds that were lit in such a spectacular way that I had to go get my camera.
Mount the lens then the camera on the tri-pod and take aim. The clouds had the audacity to move form the light faster than a toddler will leave the set. So what to do? I figured I had the camera gear out so I might just as well take some night shots of my Tiburon. It was not going to complain about the late hour so I clicked off a number of frames.
I had an EF 24-70 f/2.8 L mounted on the 5D Mk II. The specs on the shot were 35mm, ISO 1000, the exposure was 15 seconds at f/3.2. A little adjustments in Lightroom and the image is very passable for 11:37 PM

Take care... Doug
