Christmas Was Good

Update on Christmas in January. Well, The Wacom Bamboo pen tablet was a real surprise to my brother-in-law. We spent most of the afternoon talking photo this and that. Some time over at the Barnes & Noble surfing. Now that is a little interesting. Next to the B&N is a Staples. Most everybody knows that B&N contracts for the internet and then rips the customers off for a few minutes of access while at the coffee shop. The Staples must know this also and is thumbing their nose and this arrangement. Sitting in the coffee shop at B&N one can get the free wireless from the Staples next door. Now that is my kind of capitalism.

We did some shooting with my flash units and the 70-200 glass mounts on a 1/2" extension tube which produced some interesting macro shots with tight depth of field. Nothing worth keeping but a lot of fun chimping after each shot.

Nuff for now,
Doug
