Sunrise@FL350

No the title of this post is not some weird e-mail address. It describes this image precisely, that being a sunrise at flight lever 350 (that's 35,000 feet for ye landlubbers).

I can't remember exactly where I was when I took this pic (other than in the cockpit) or for that matter if it was FL350 or 380, or 410 for that matter but FL350 just sounded cooler and what popped into my head when I came up with the tittle.

I thought I would share the vantage point that I am often privileged to experience when those special times occur. The view is really spectacular. Of course it is supposed to be for seeing and avoiding other aircraft (a function I do appreciate), however the view from the front seat is often overwhelming. To take in the beauty that is laid out in the thousands of square miles within our view is truly a blessing. The view from those little passenger windows just does not  do it justice.

As far as the image, it is untouched form the camera other than the RAW conversion.
