50 Days Old... Yippee!!!

Here I am 50 days old in cyberspace. I have very much enjoyed shooting out a cranial dump each night, morning, daytime or whenever I get a chance to.

If there are a couple of issues I might bring up for anyone who is thinking of a daily blog, they would be:

1. For a photo blog make sure you have a descent collection of images you can share.

2. Be committed to doing it every day. If you let it slip a couple of days, don't go back and try and catch up. Get over it and move on with life.

3. Here is a dirty little blogger secret. Build up a few generic blogs but don't post them. If you run short of material or it's just a sucking day, or you missed a day. You can go back and change the date on the edit and post it for the set date. Ok! Yes I know that is cheating but it keeps a consistent blog posting on the web.

4. If you are not going to be blogging for a period of time, say so and when you expect to be back.

5. Don't get discouraged itf you never get any comments. I have no idea if anyone is reading this blog but I am doing it more for myself anyhow. I just enjoy sharing information and my thoughts in a benign way.

6. Here is a biggy. If you are looking at a blog from the standpoint of a marketing tool or to share your thoughts with possible clients... Like we have always told our children, "Don't do or say anything that would embarrass themselves". This includes off colored jokes, foul language, political statements, or ranting constantly about a passionate issue you have. That  gets way old too fast.
