Ok, I think this is my earliest blog post. At least after I have slept through the night. Anyhow I am going to attempt a journalistic approach this week to the blog. I am in Wichita KS for recurrent training for my "day job" and am heading off to breakfast with some of the others in the class.
At noon we start our ground trianing and at this point I do not have a clue to when the simulator session will be. My sim partner (Nina) e-mailed me last night to let me know she had arrived and to call her for dinner with the others. At that point it was about 4:30 PM and I was still packing my bag at home. I was not to get to ICT until 10:00 PM or so. Which by the way United (really not UAL but one of the many commuters that represent to the flying public that the are) did a fine job at getting me here, minor delay but flights were not full and it was actually somewhat comfortable. A pleasant surprise in todays airline travel.
Yes this is the training vendor we use. It is the largest in the world and a syster company in the Berkshire Hathaway family.
I will get something up later that hopefully will include real images that are not just from my Blackberry camera.
