For those of you who were fortunate enough to have a father figure in your life to share lives experiences with are truly blessed. I think of Tim Russert's death the other day and how he wrote a book about "Big Russ" his father. What a tribute to a dad.
I was fortunate enough to have a father that participated in my life as I have tried in my children's lives. You know we all fail too often at this parenting thing, but kids are forgiving... to a fault at times. They know when you are honest and when you are pulling the wool over their eyes. Don't try and fake it... You aren't that good!
Time is like candy. It is not the fact that it one piece of Godiva chocolate as much as it is a whole bag of M&M's. This crap about quality time is just that. Crap! It is not quality time dummy, it's quantity time.
Call your dad and tell him you Love him!
