We have a right in this great country that few people on this planet enjoy with the freedom from persecution that we have. It is the right to vote. Not only is it a right, it is a responsibility. The last couple of weeks have been very taxing on the public with the bombardment of attack ads from one party towards the other and vis-a-versa. One attack has been that of patriotism. Here is a quick cut and paste from my dictionary:
patriot |ˈpātrēət| noun
1 a person who vigorously supports their country and is prepared todefend it against enemies or detractors.
I will leave it at that but if you consider yourself a patriot then it is your responsibility to support your country with your vote.
Get out and vote!
