Thanksgiving is a special time of the year, the fall colors are mostly gone, the bite of coolness in the air is giving us the indication that snow and winter is not too far away. Yet we enjoy the time of fellowship with our family members and the feast that is too often the cause of overindulgence.
But yet, we are most thankful for who has made this all possible, that being a loving God and creator. Without getting too preachy here, it is important to take some time other than grace at the table to reflect on where you are in your life and why you are there. What is your purpose and how are you living in a world that s hell bent on fighting God's love and generosity on a daily basis.
As I type this I am at my daughters hose in Maryland just prior to the setting of the feast. The image above is a simple center piece on the table that I took with a new device that I will share with you all on Monday. It is pretty cool though.
Take care all and have a wonderful day of thanksgiving!
Cya... Doug
