A Wet Walk

Last week I looked out my hotel window that overlooked the harbor in Marina del Rey, CA. I had immediate thoughts of some early morning shots. Referencing an iPhone/Touch app called Focalware for the sunrise I set my alarm for 5:00 AM. When the alarm went off I of course had the thought of just rolling over. Then dork-Doug said "Go get the shot..." So I threw some close on and headed out.

The image above is still about twenty minutes before sunrise but there was plenty of light to get some interesting images. This one is a classic perspective shot with the added question in your mind of, "So where do the rails lead". It looks like I am standing in the water but that was not the case. In fact the tide was out and the walkway went a good thirty or forty feet behind me. I was able to get up on the roof of the hotel to get some interesting shots of Southern California but have not had a chance to get anything process on them yet. Should give me something to do this week.

Hey, it's back into the office today. I should have the work surface frame done today or tomorrow, so stay tuned.

Cya... Doug
